Sungaze
Sungaze is a Cincinnati shoegaze band whose Bandcamp tagline is “music to yearn to”: reverb-soaked guitar leads, lush textures and plainspoken, poetic vocals. “Shadows,” a 2025 single, blends traditional shoegaze with contemporary influences and was written and recorded in one spontaneous five-hour session; the band’s mantra is “If you can dream it, you can create it.” The song looks at how good and evil coexist in everyone. Its latest album is I’m No Longer Afraid of Heights.
“Cincinnati shoegaze band on a Chicago-to-Cincinnati tour with Lavisher.”
