Cowardice
Cowardice call themselves “the harlequins of sonic despair,” and their double album Atavist backs that up — 90 minutes moving from gleaming slide guitar and almost hopeful clean vocals into ultra-low, glacially slow doom, ending on a 17-minute closer. They're readying a new collaboration with drone act Cementation Anxiety for November. The Brooklyn date has them near the top of the bill with Oldest Sea; in Cambridge, they're opening for doom-death veterans November's Doom.
