Antichrist Siege Machine
Richmond two-piece Antichrist Siege Machine play war metal: black metal, death metal and grindcore fused at full speed. It's all tremolo riffing and blast beats in a bass-heavy wall of murk, with scathing vocals about anti-Christianity and warfare. Purifying Blade (2021) runs about 30 relentless minutes, well produced but still raw and feverish, trading nuance for sheer, sincere force.
